Skeets, Good arguments. I love the monkey with a buy button comment, though I understand the monkeys are sending over a gorilla to talk to you about the insult. <G> Addi still can't get over the fact that Xilinx sucks as a business.

What is so funny is that, while many of our longs, and yours and mine are certainly not always the same names, have outperformed everything in the gullibulls portfolios on the way up, they only notice one stock or issue at a time.

What it comes down to is that everyone gives lip service to buying when valuations are low, but few actually apply that concept to their investing. Which is why they get killed in the bear market. The undervalued sectors of the market, country CEFs, takeover meltdowns, Y2K stocks, and oil services have performed better at lower risk than the nifty techies. But, you have to be patient and courageous to buy them. You just need that monkey's button for the nifties. <G>
