No, I'm not surprised that many Christians support Libertarianism. There is an organized Christian Libertarian organization out there somewhere- I have seen their ads in rags I read. On the other hand there are Atheist Libertarians. You have the right idea on acceptance, and in fact we Americans do better at this coexistence stuff than most places around the world- this thread not withstanding.
Libertarians would most certainly not allow government to pay for abortions. Nor would they, as you seem comfortable with, outlaw them. The official line is that the issue is not to be the business of the federal government at all, but rather a personal issue. So perhaps this political party DOES satisfy your moral dilemma here. Again, tax support for abortions is clearly by definition not something the Libertarian party would ever support. I hope this helps.
As for what you might produce if left free of taxation, well, I like your positive attitude there!
