This country is going to be led based on how the American people vote. For all the people that didn't vote; I don't care what their opinion is; they have no right to one concerning politicians or the system or anything if they can't get off their lazy asses and vote which is a minimum civic duty. The irony is that at my far right Bible discussion group I go to each Tuesday night; out of 18 people; the minister and I were the only ones that voted and all those far right opinions meant nothing when it came to the election since they didn't vote. What is interesting is how the Republican party is ditching the far right. Go ahead and wish for a Republican President in George Bush Jr.; he is now on record that he supports the current law on abortion rights and so according to Chris Mathews; he is by default Pro-Choice. I'd enjoy seeing all the far right people voting for and wishing for a Pro-Choice candidate for President. That would be the ultimate sell out of their morality. They will have become so obsessed with hatred of Democrats and in love with Republican's that it won't even occur to them that they are no longer getting the support on the issues they hold so dear. Dole talked at length about how he wants to see abortion not be an issue in who is or who isn't a Republican; in other words; he wants to see the Republican Party take a neutral position on abortion. You like that?
