To all who read SPECULATIONS AND NEGATIVE HYPE slams and slime. Its very apparent that a lot of people don't see that the R and D office is set up for several R and D ventures but that its very broad.
A few observations from myself that i will not reveal any other info about and or comment any further

1)We are developing a residential solution for homes and small Business and also wireless conectivity.Something along the line of iphone or the like.
2)With Mr Saltwicks experience and patents Its obvious we are getting into major security and confidential transmission areas.Gee wonder??
3)Sales men don't cost much unless they are very good and then they make a lot of money for themselves and at the same time make more for you.
4)P and T is our biggest sales force and one that was a big cou for FTEL probably over several hundred salesmen and women are able to bring about hundreds of demos a year and who can begin to guess the sales.
5)P and T certified The tempest to the US Goverment,P and T is a large US/GAO supplier,Why Pre certify the TEMPEST and Present it to the US on any and all Telephony BIDS.
6)The auction Business, does any one want to think why the R and D area and Saltwick are in need here,Didn't one of the hottest IPO's ever offered just happen to be an Auction E-Net firm.
7)What can we use FNET for?Any Guess's are are your imaginations too much like mush,Mr Peters Imajination may be too broad for some but I 'm waiting for more announcements.
8)PP from Sutro for FNET will bring money for FNET at little or no cost except FNET shares available in the float if they IPO"note I said if " because I firmly believe that while a large IPO would be fantastic,A stand alone company thet does not need an IPO will bring about faster and larger revenues for both, if done with PP untill the company is able to IPO at the price that the holders believe is warrented and that the market is willing to bear.I also if Sutro is interested in buying available shares from existing FNET holders in order to pp at a less dilutive figure. Also who bought enough to get us up over a buck???Anyone know or has anyone a guess???
9)Sutro is and i believe will stay as the main VC concern for FTEL,We are very luck to get this type of company to provide the expertise to bring about the type of expansion that FTEL needs.Their knowledge of the technological advantages of VOIP and the industry in general and the respect that they have in the market and the Valley will undoubtly
aid them in selling FTEL as the company of tommorrow at the price they feel is right regardless of what the stock is at.
10)NASDAQ a word that many feel is far too far away.As soon as FNET IPO's FTEL is listed just as will FNET be.This could of course happen before an IPO depending on the PP and revenues generated by the Operations and sales.

Ok now slam away and forget about me answering any of the slop that has been here for 3 weeks and you know who you are.
And by the way I will still have lobster and cracked crab served up and you know by whom.

William I am not sure I follow what you are saying so I will try to ask precise questions so you can straighten me out.

You stated
At what point do you consider 50 employees not selling enough to cover their salaries, anything to do with expansion? William if this is true that the company has 50 salaried sales people its news to me. Is that what you are saying or am I missing your point here?
For that matter, at what point do you consider Frank persuasive, considering sales remain below their levels of one or two years ago? I agree here although they are selling a product currently that is out of beta testing just about 1 year now.
I'm not talking about FNet. FNet is on the books as a negative asset. Did you get your proxy in January? Half the people here didn't. Think FNet can't disappear from the books?
Actually I did receive all my proxies. But I do admit that was a screw up. The question is given the chance that all received their proxies would that change our current company status?

PP vs raising more money FTEL has already had lots of cash, enough to deploy 1,000 Tempests. Indeed at the time the CFO indicated we'd have 250 Tempests in place by 12/31/97. At what point has there been enough of a cash infusion?

You mean 12/31/98 but I see where you are coming from. The company is running in the red that is a fact.Cash is being spent and I believe it is being spent in an aggressive manor . They are not sitting on their hands they are trying IMO to make this happen. But hey this could be an elaborate scam. This is the world of BB and it SUCKS! William was their not some mention as to a time frame of 13 months? Maybe I am thinking of another stock but if it is this one than that statement was made beginning of the summer so we are half way through the projected end. Could you please help me on this I am not sure if my memory is accurate here?

This is not to say that Frank can't pull off an IPO, but most CEOs like to stay away from the penny stock mentality. Frank likes it. Maybe we'll IPO FNet for about $.10/share.
I disagree but thats just my opinion. Do you think that the companies current situation share price wise was contrived (bad word edit is a result of a careless attitude) or do you think Frank would rather be listed on an exchange? You by your statement I guess thinks that the former is true.

Thanks for your thoughts and I hope I understood what you were trying to say.
