Tim - just stumbled onto your thread for the first time and it deserves more than a bookmark...well done!

We seem to have have similar backgrounds/phisosphies in trading ..wonder if you or others have you been following Leasing Solutions (LSN)? I've successfully traded it a number of times and currently have a limit order in for 5000 shares at 9 1/2 @ tomorrow's open. It's been badly beaten up, currently under 10 with earnings being released after market close tomorrow. Management (who I've spoken with on a number of occasions) has been very tight-lipped about why exactly they won't be meeting analysts' expectations, yet say they will report a profitable quarter. When they first announced this a few weeks ago the stock did a nose-dive from $20 to $10 (after trading at $30 in August). Yes, there is some mystery here, but I honestly don't think there is much downside left..have done as much DD as I can and feel comfortable upside over overthe next week or two will be explosive.. any insights from this thread would be greatly appreciated as I am debating whether to pull my order and watch how the day unfolds. Am looking or a 2-3 week double on this one: quote.yahoo.com

My other position is with NMGC -- and I expecting it to set new trading range (unlike historical pattern) after last week's earnings release..will hold this one for about a week.

The first stock I ever bought was Newcourt Credit Group (NCT - NYSE/TSE) and because the shorts have a hold on it again, I am out for the time being. Was delighted, however when they drove it down to rock bottom levels in October so that I and others could enjoy the 80% ride back up...this is, without a doubt, my favourite trading opportunitiy. I'm hoping it will happen again over the next few weeks (you may want to keep an eye on this one).

In the meantime, congratulations again on a great thread...and good luck in this week's trading.
