Thanks, Jach. Mr. Chambers was on CNBC on Thursday morning. If memory serves, he specifically mentioned voice recognition and telephony as the areas CSCO was interested in as far as buyouts. He also specifically said that the 5 billion in cash would help on buyouts. Now, with all due respect, I don't just roll over and believe every single thing he says. On the other hand, he did say it.

My other point is that the regulars on this thread (IMHO) are not overly interested in the subject of who CSCO might buy, but would be more interested in whatever benefits might come to CSCO after they buy someone.

That's why I started the other thread. I want to know anyone's ideas about potential buyout candidates, but I don't want to hassle this thread with a subject that isn't really germane to the discussion here, and could easily annoy those that couldn't care less.
