I don't believe that Templeton is a REIT. I do not own it as a closed end fund. I have held units of Templeton Emerging markets Fund [a mutual] which invests only in emerging markets. It distributes once a year and is up 15% in the last several weeks after being hammered in the Emerging markets meltdown.
On HOT.UN. Any reasons why it would be traded close to the 52 week low when all the other REITS eg Riocan and Legacy are 25% off their lows.
