NOTED STOCK ANALYST DRIVES MAN CRAZY

By Jackie Frenk
SILICON INVESTOR, Nov 9 (Reuters) - A Silicon Investor member (Charles Slater) has been driven stock raving mad by noted short selling analyst Valuespec. Charles was said by his friends to have been able to hold a relatively comprehensible discussion about stocks before the analyst started pointing out a few things he had uncovered about Charles's favorite penny stock. After apparently being unable to discredit Valuespec or the alleged facts that Valuespec posted on the FTEL thread at Silicon Investor, Charles was reduced to posting the temperature in the desert over and over. When contacted for comment Mr. Slater said he has 14 months for vindication but would not elaborate, he repeated this contention at every mention of Mr. Specs name.
Valuespec, (who is said to be a humble man not inclined to be involved in controversies) had no comment on the subject. He was said to be doing some yard work at the time.
