Is IBM buying RAID product from Mylex in any significant quantity? As far as I know IBM left Mylex and took their RAID development in house about two years ago. So IBM wouldn't have to deal with Compaq at all if Compaq bought Mylex (not that I think that is going to happen).

I do wonder if perhaps IBM or Compaq (who has always manufactured their own RAID product as far as I know) has now decided to come back/start buying from Mylex.

Does anyone have a contact with someone who will be going to COMDEX? Supposedly Mylex products are going to be featured at four major OEMs besides the Mylex booth. While I didn't get to listen to the conference call this is supposedly what Al said though he refused to name them saying he didn't want to do the competitions job for them - let them do their homework. Wonder who the four major OEMs are?
