I don't want to look for the post but....

Someone mentioned that there may be a write up in Barron's this weekend on Westell. I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday and scanned Barron's but no luck....I'm not sure if Barron's prints on Sunday. If anyone wants to check it out, post your findings please. I'm short on time today, otherwise I'd go to B&N again.

Lastly, I'm trying to remain positive on this stock, so my question is:
Why would a stock suddenly have an accumulate rating on it unless something was about to happen?
After "accumulate" does it become a BUY? Or is accumulate the same thing as a buy rating? If your gonna accumulate it, you gotta buy it.

enlightenment needed here. :)

Hi Mike,

I agree that most of the installed base is CAP, but the times they are a changin:) Globespan announced support for DMT a few months back because the writing is on the walls.

I cannot compare Paradyne with Cisco because the two are light years apart in terms of power. Cisco is the leader with the full capability to change standards as many Cisco people sit on and are chairs of the standards committee. Paradyne simply does not have the power to enforce a non-standards based product. Paradyne may indeed have a good concept and product, buy imho, it is doomed with all the powers that be that stand behind the G.Lite bandwagon.

Additionally, Paradyne is a private company, so unless you work there, getting a piece of it is out of the question. Even if I could, I would not place my bets there.

I hope that MVL does work out for them, but my gut instinct says no way. Of course, I have been wrong many times before too--like placing my money in WSTL:(
