Sonki. Yes, very unfortunate about LU/VP. Nothing wrong with retiring early if you can. As you know I retired at 59, not quite as young as you are planning to and I immed. went onto SI, gg. And maybe you remember my motto: You only live once, enjoy it.

LU is mentioned in this weeks Money magazine as a stock to own. And WLA has been declared a big money winner out of 7 stocks that writer recomm. last year. And he says that Wla is still a buy with their Lipitor growing still rapidly and things in the pipeline for
Alzheimers and Prostate cancer.

Someone mentioned in that magazine that Dell is now richly valued with CPQ coming on in the 1000 $ market. That author thinks CPQ should be going to the low 40's. Since I own both stocks I don't worry which one will move faster. I think I still bank on Dell to outpace the PC makers.

Intel and Amat are very fav. mentioned. PC's sales are up and should bode well for the bottom line of those 2 companies.

TBR. Yes, I am not unhappy with my TBR. Since you bought already in the 50's you are ahead of me on that. gg. I was too nervous for that. But at least I did buy some stuff when things were lower. BTW, you got lucky when I bought. This time around the drop only lasted 1 day and then steadily moved up. Normally it takes longer when I buy. gg.

Japan is up. That's a surprise, I believe. I heard on Friday that Japan would probably trend lower. Well, maybe we will be up also tomorrow.
