Daniel, <I can see that much of this has to become subliminal and almost instinctive> Yes! Now you're talking! This is my theory in a nutshell. I believe that extensive study and research (Yes, even TA!) is vital, but it is also clear to me that to be fast, confident and fearless, you have to assimilate all the data and allow an intuitive answer be you guide. I think all great traders do this. The challenge is take your instinctive hunches and then make damn sure you have enough backup indicators to give yourself a quick grounding before you take a shot. At that point, it is essential that you DO take your shot. that is why I said you made a good trade on ASND, even tho you had to bail. By the way, I didn't recall you were new to trading. You seem very capable for a beginner. I think your approach, eg bringing examples to this thread for analysis is excellent. Lots of us love dissecting trades and doing this work is a great learning experience. I am getting a big lesson from Alan on TA and I am intrigued. Heck, I might even start trading ASND now! Rick
