Bernie:

You are 100% correct.

For cash account I use 5% stop on mutual funds. My computer
was programmed to print out warnings at 3.5% down. Is 5% a
good stop? I appreciate your comments.

In the Louisville Chapter AAII seminars, the concept of
using stops was not well received. People are not interested
in taking losses.

Do you have buy signals on FSVLX and FSCSX?

Bernie, our TIMER model was mostly in FSESX in the down turn and not doing to well but on 10/23/98 went into the Brokerage buying FSLBX. We are holding now for 14 days and it is up 11.7%. It is a stand alone however as the other models are not recommending it. The best pick according to the majority of sector models is FSELX at this time.
The range from have held it holding 4-14days. So it is still early in the BUY cycle.
