Bertrand,

I am happy about Alcatel's plan to buy back 10% of their shares because the share price is too low and of that I am not satisfied. What do you mean to imply when you say "what about no plan at all"?

"Now, you may find this not convincing enough. It is your right."
Convincing of what? I am convinced that Alcatel cares about the company and it's long term survival.

"You think it will be short lived? I don't"

What is it? An investor can look at their investment in two ways. Some look at their investment with the short term in mind and some with the long term in mind. I too have bought this stock near the bottom and I am patient enough to wait for it to return. 1 year, 2 years, whatever. I do not care if "it" is short lived. as I said before "Look for earnings and contracts to move and support the price in the long run."

Regards,

Milkman
