Rick, MBT fixed that so you only have to change the setting one time.

You want to uncheck this box at the start of every day. If you don't, every time you enter an order, you'll get a dialogue box (a la Datek) saying "Are you sure you want to do this?" You don't need this delay in your ordering process.

Also, a new client may want the confirmation check box to appear for at least the first few days. When the confirmation is disabled; you are just one click away from a live order.

Rick have you ever tried making a small chart of the TICK ?

I use two minute candles and I find, for my feeble and twisted mind, that a chart is much more useful than just a raw blinking number.

Every trader has to have their own style and approach.

One of the reasons that Jack Schwager's "Market Wizards" books are my favorites, is that the interviews clearly demonstrate that varied and even "opposing" styles can all bring success.

The common theme was that a trader must develop an individual approach and then stick to it.

For me Level II is 95% an order entry tool and 5% predictive.

For me the charts rule, I look to them to make my best guess as to where a stock is going next.
