mike, I do clean cache so that is not the problem. How do I find out what speed? If you mean the bar at the bottom of the screen, I am often at 100 bytes/sec or slower when accessing SI. Most other sites are so fast that it just blink and I am done, not "slow" enough for me to know what speed those sites are coming dn at. in the best interest of the thread, my email address is jackram@home.com and it is much faster than trying to post and respond on SI right now. @home's tech support had me run a "tracert talk.techstocks.com". He said I am routed through 14 stops and somehow he determined from that @home is not at fault. Again, any help appreciated. Ramsey
