Holding some GERN here myself (from 21 11/16, added after hours @ 17 3/8).....should have covered on friday, but what the heck. Shorts damn near impossible to get, unless you where early on Friday. Lunch was also an opportune time to get some. If your a "short player" it does indeed pay to have multiple brokers. Often one of the brokers will be able to fill shorts when all the rest cant. I have had good luck with E*Trade lately....I was even able to get some KTEL at a premium 13 1/2 (tried all the way down from 16 1/2 until finally getting them the next day). Persistance in this KTEL case paid a realized 3 1/2 points (covered on friday). Regards...
