Dog,

The problem with your analysis is that CPQ's business model is deeply flawed and it may not be able to regain the earnings necessary to justify an increase in the value of the company. Also, CPQ has many weaknesses in its current operations. CPQ is the Moby Dick of the PC business.

But Rude they'd have to convince a lot of skeptical people that they are worth an equal valuation. First I'd like them to make money. Second, I'd like to see a viable plan for integration of DEC. Third, well let's see the first two.
