Allen, i thought the same about JGlad when i read
his post: he's definitely short!

One of the rules for posting on this thread could be: unless
you can substantiate your claims then there's
ABSOLUTELY no validity to the claims you make.

"I have heard that Costco and Circuit City are dropping the Zip drive".
Exactly where have you heard this?"

Please go to your local Circuit City or Costco store and ask the manager of the store for yourself.

"You know that Iomega "dumped" $100 million in inventory last quarter? How do you know that?"

My proof is Iomega's balance sheet. For what do you attribute the $100 million dollar increase in accounts receivables and the $100 million dollar decline in inventory? My guess is we will see even a bigger discrepancy in the fourth qtr.

The other cause for concern is the fact that Iomega will face increasing competition in the later part of this month in the form of Sony. It will also face increasing competition from Castlewood systems. I believe that Sony is in a little better financial shape than Syquest.
