"When a stock goes into a momentum driven series of trend line accelerations it doesn't use a trend line more than twice. Once the trend is established it logically follows that the next acceleration will key off the second "anchor" of the previous acceleration using it as the first "anchor" of the next acceleration. Most acceleration anchors occur on a shakeout that does not quite reach the most previously set trend line. The low for the second "anchor" of an acceleration almost always finds a price that corresponds to a significant downtrend line"

Beautiful, makes my day! A rare display of genius. Velocity and Acceleration are my favorite studies. Thanks for coding Acceleration. New Comkey parameters rock, C > 1/2 range, and breakout < 8% of C.

The higher low on the down trendline indicates a successful retest of a confirmed breakout, but of course you already new that. Thanks again Doug, I still struggle with this but am beginning to understand.

Thanks Doug
I appreciate you taking the time to explain. This method you are using is it similar to Andrews Pitchfork? It apears you are bisecting resistance to create supports on a small scale. Good stuff.
