Amazing a new guy on the valence thread,just joined yesterday.
pretty pointed question. I don't think pointed or subtle bashing is going to have much affect on this company anymore.

Good question. I've never heard that Bellcore has taken an equity position in any other licensee. Valence has been the purest play in the technology and has a large supplemental patent portfolio. Yes, I would think that the equity position take a few years ago in lieu of cash was a calculated bet on the company. I hope that VLNC rewards Bellcore handsomely. (My wish is not completely selfless). The other licensee's are listed in the company's 10K accessable throught he web site valence-tech.com.
