Great idea for a discussion thread. I had the same reaction to the CEO interview on CNBC and like the "many heads" approach to research. While most of the past acquisitions have been of private companies, it seems that given the competitive landscape and the amount of cash CSCO has, some publically traded companies could be targets. Take look at PAIR. The technology could be an enhancement to CSCO's product catalog. biz.yahoo.com
