Commodore Applied Tech gets $3-5 mln contract

NEW YORK, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Commodore Applied Technologies Inc. (AMEX:CXI - news) said Monday its Commodore Advanced Sciences Inc. unit was awarded a five-year contract for work at the U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge, Tennessee site.

The contract has an estimated value of $3-5 million over a five-year period.

The company said the deal is a subcontract under Tetra Tech Inc.'s (Nasdaq:WATR - news) $20 million contract with Bechtel Corp. affiliate Bechtel Jacobs Co LLC for general engineering support in environmental management work at the site.
