It was you that labelled the public as uninitiated. I suggested that your patronizing use of that word comes across as an accusation of the public as being stupid. You further back that up by suggesting that their stupidity needs to be protected by big brother DOJ. You further indict the intelligence of the market place by suggesting that MSFT has totally baffled the public.

Now that you are no longer uninitiated do you now possess an alternative OS? You address some of points about Java but avoid the fact that it is really not a lingua franca absent the universal client. I say again where are all the Mac clients?

As for your contention that MSFT disables other peoples technologies that is pure speculation on your part. I know that if I was a maker of IC engines I would not alter my product to enhance the introduction of the Sterling or Wankel engines.

It is possible that you are confused on this subject as well.
