<iGlenn, do you know how much was spent on advertising? Do you know the margin on music? So it is just a much an article of faith for you to maintain that amzn could not be profitable if it chose to be. Robert, I do not know these figures. That is why I never made a statement such as they would be profitable or not if they so chose. I obtain from that statement. I admit to not knowing. Doug made his statement as though it was fact. At any rate, why do certain bears on this thread choose to pounce on anyone who makes anything resembling a bullish statement re: the 'thingg'? I do not have a problem with bullish statements with something to back them up. A statement made with no knowledge whatsoever, should be an embarassment. Glenn
