Ross Manire to Leave 3Com BusinessWire, Monday, November 09, 1998 at 08:04 SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1998--3Com Corporation (NASDAQ:COMS) today announced that Ross Manire, senior vice president of 3Com's Carrier Systems Business Unit (CSBU), has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. Irfan Ali, vice president of marketing for carrier systems, will be acting general manager for the business unit while the company completes its search for a permanent replacement. Since June 1997, Manire has had strategic and operational responsibilities for the company's carrier and network service provider business, including the company's industry leading Total Control Access Concentrator.
