Mr. DeShong,

Do you REALLY think the SEC brought charges against 44 people for failing to use proper Internet shorthand?

I can't believe you even HINT that not revealing your position (long or short) or real name on the Internet is somehow legally or morally indefensable.

The reason I use a ficticious alias, as you call it, is because I don't want to one day find a mentally unstable person knocking on my door with a score to settle because of some off-hand comment about liquid paper. Also, the possibility of attracting e-mail gnats is a real and nauseating prospect.

You need to get over your abnormal fear of prosecution and also realize that not everyone who uses an alias is hiding something really important.

IMO your insistence on real names, proper internet shorthand, and telling other posters your position in a stock is misguided. It speaks more about your personal insecurities than addressing anything of real substance.

My alias came about because of my signature, I presently have no position in NEON.

Aloha, Mike Walker
