David - along the same lines do you have an opinion on INTC? Yhoo and IBM, for that matter, are sailing along as if there's no tomorrow. E

OT: Ever since early July, Dell share price was as high as $60. Look where it goes now after 4 months. Nowhere. I suspect it can make new highs and hold it there. Because I think few serious long-term investors will buy it at this level. And most people who buy it now are momentum players. They will leave after earning runup.

After saying this, it seems too early to short DELL. The right price should be >$69. JIMO.

David-- a lot of people have lost a ton of money shorting Dell. Selling Dell puts has made for some pretty reliable income. The coming 5-6 months are the best for the computer business. Look at IBM and the others. I think shorting Dell might be a good idea, but not until next year.

David J, I noticed the same thing, plus On Balance Volume is not keeping pace with almost new high prices...
