You came up with an oversimplification that MSFT and CSCO will win the MAD (directory) push, as MSFT has the mindshare, and market, while CSCO has the enterprise. Just seems to me you can't see the networking forest through your MAD tree.

Nonetheless, I find your posts regarding directory most interesting. I agree that NOVL has a good start, but agian the LU/NOVL integration is a long way off. Second MSFT has the market/mindshare - remember what they did in the browser market. Third, CSCO will be helping them and CSCO owns the enterprise.
