And we wonder why there is "volatility" on these driller stocks. Oh, well, I smelled the toast burning and got out of GLM at $14.00. PKD is a big disappointment today. The old adage buy low and sell high certainly applies at this time.

The 300 million barrels of missing oil:

I have read on a few other message boards that the 300 million barrels are an accounting error. Supposably demand from asia was underestimated and supply to asia was overstated. I haven't found an article yet, but the posters say this was said on CNBC.
If this is true (I have no confirmation), is this not HUGE for oil prices? And if it is true, isn't it an unprecedented mistake with the oil supply calculations?
