MMV, all I know is that this Bernstein guy better get with the program if he doesn't want to end up working in a car wash. <G>

Abby Jo has been taken to task before for this scam. She likes to compare current operating earnings to real earnings of companies in previous cycles. It's like timing a thoroughbred for 3 furlongs without starting him out of the gate. Surprise, surprise, his time for 3 furlongs, when he gets a running start, is faster than his time when he has to start from a standstill. What Abby is saying is, let's take away all the negative factors this time and compare to other periods where we leave their negative factors in place. That way, our dog food stocks look like they could stay in the race against Secretariat.
