Hi Brice, this lady was contemplating a solution to a different problem. I was talking to her about my worries that if the bank's computers crash, what happens to the data? For that matter, all electronic data pertaining to commerce. Even if the banks and brokers are Y2K compliant, if the power grid goes off, what happens to the data? I was telling her I thought paper statements would be honored, and I was planning on getting a printout December 31, 1999. That's when she told me HER solution. If everyone takes their cash out of the bank at the same time, there is definitely not enough currency for that. Start the presses!
