QP_LC cannot update existing data. It just nukes the entire dir and re-builds from scratch. So qp_lc can't be used to update historical data from another provider where automatically update metastock dirs can.

Hrm. didn't realize that, but the data is all from QP2, so I won't lose anything by doing that. I'll try it and see if the inefficiency there is worth it to me. Thanks.

What does the LC in QP_LC stand for. Forgive me if that is a stupid question, but I am new to Quotes Plus.
