I think Chuck is a very talented, hard working and respected analyst. therefore, he can have significant impact on a stock short term. longer term, analyst comments are irrelevant, only results matter.

chuck dislikes the stand alone front office vendors, he thinks that size is of primary importance. He has been wrong in the past, but he is often right.

I happen to vehemently disagree with him in the front office space. He managed to spook quite a few folks out of clarify with negative comments the week before they reported. i don't know where chuck gets his information on clarify from since he "covers" the company and hasn't written anything since they reported and hasn't spoken to a single individual on the new management team other than a polite hello.

i think sap will be a dismal failure in almost every non-core diversification attempt in their business, they don't have the account control the street thinks, the product quality, the domain knowledge or the development prowess. other than that.....
