Proceed with caution.

I've traded in and out of SEEK over the past couple of years, for tiny profits, but it's hard to time. I felt like I had a pretty good handle on how SEEK moves, so last week I dumped at 32. This stock drives me crazy.

I think this is the best advice I've seen for SEEK - exchange2000.com

Another wise poster once warned me about how he got in and out of XCIT for small profits, and then one day it went up and never came down. If (when) I get back into SEEK, my intent will be to keep it LONG. I'll try trading somewhere else.

I expect SEEK share price to eventually surpass EXIT and CNWK once the combined SEEK and Disney's Go Network is launched. I'm basing this on their projection to be number 3 behind Yahoo and AOL:

"Go Network will have the third largest unduplicated reach on the Internet, in terms of unique visitors, at launch, and would rank ahead of Microsoft and Netscape, and behind only Yahoo and AOL."

Tom,
Here is the way I see it:Since there is 4.6+Mill short positions on seek, the MMs can't bring the stock down without taking a bath, therefore I predict a short term squeeze which will drive the price up even higher, the same is going to happen with yhoo.I would not short even at 40.I shorted seek out of sickness when they did not beat earnings and it handed my A** on a silver plate, now I bought it at 38 and will sell at the high 40, or low 50s.
Regards
Gabor
