Lynn... I went ahead with some Dec70's today...
Had bought the Nov65 this am, and the Dec70's just as DELL was starting to pull out of the station this afternoon. :) :)

Nov 70 calls
My own call strategy did not work out as well. I bought some Dell at $58 a month ago and immediately sold NOV60 calls. Bye Bye Dell shares. At least these weren't my long term shares and they say you will never go broke by making a profit. I've got a lot to learn.

Trading options on short term moves is best done with near term contracts. The stock will pull back after it pops for earnings.
You could probably get a nice move on the Nov 75's.
