Hi Roy - a word of explanation may be necessary here

Stocks symbols are not unique between Canada and the US: in fact many unrelated US and Canadian companies share symbols. All Canadian companies will have unique symbols across Canadian exchanges - the same is true for US listings in the States. But a stock symbol stops at the border. I recognise that the full symbol for Boyd group is BYD.A, however, it could just as easily have been BYD (i.e. exactly the same as your US interest). In short, use caution and ensure that company you are researching is the correct one. Do not rely on stock symbol if the company is from a foreign market(i.e. foreign from your perspective).

BTW, Winnipeg does have an exchange (although in 3 years of running our web site, no one has ever asked why we don't cover it).

Canada Newswire normally carries Boyd press releases at newswire.ca
