I assume you are asking what information is displayed regarding bid and ask. This depends on the exchange you are talking about. With listed exchanges, eg. NYSE and AMEX, everybody sees the same thing: best bid, best ask and the respective sizes. With Nasdaq there are two levels of service: Level I simply shows bid/ask and size, while Level II shows the bid/ask/size for each market maker. You can get Level II service from a variety of quote vendors in the US (it's expensive)--I would imagine it's also available in Canada. Some brokerages have direct order entry systems that are integrated with quote feeds that may include Level II. Tim's new broker is one of these (MB Trading).
