The brokers seem to be trying to push the stock up along with the other Internets. (J)Lamie at DLJ re-issued his buy recommendation (again & again) and 170 price target. They have to try to support it so that they can sell. Also, AMZN seemed to benefit by the news wire item that said that on-line Christmas sales will be up substantially this year - as if that was news to anyone but someone marooned on a desert island.

That proved to be the right thing to do. Now is the time to short - at 130-133. I think the internet stock will pull off the current highs once the momentum breaks up.

There is too much negative going on with Amazongonebroke.com for it to participate with the new Internet momo kings - eBay, KTEL and others.
