Ralf,

Good article. MSFT is clearly distracted by all their
legal problems & their marketing organization is rudderless.
As they meander into the future, their lack of engineering
skill is going to become even more apparant than even
now, and even Ballmer & Butthead won't be able to fix it.

The DOJ trial is good for SUNW in a couple of ways. First,
it is a distraction for the boys in Redmond and second, it
will help define what is and is not acceptable behavior
in the software business. With those precedents in place,
SUNW can move forward with great dispatch in selling Java
applications around the world.

Windows 2000 - i guess thats Microsoft initial assesment of bugs that will ship with it.
