ADVISORY-NYSE to halt trade briefly on Veteran's
NEW YORK, Nov 9 (Reuters) - The New York Stock Exchange said on Monday it will halt trading for two minutes on Wednesday, Veteran's Day, in its annual tribute to Americans who have served in the military.

A bell will ring at 1100 EST/1600 GMT to temporarily halt trading. The floor of the NYSE, usually a hive of activity, will observe a moment of silence. During the final minute, a U.S. Army veteran will pay ''Taps'' in honor of those who have fallen in battle.

Trading will resume at 1102 EST, with the ringing of the bell.
