Now relating to ASML's latest PAS 5500/700B tool, they speak of an "AERIAL II illuminator" Can this be from Cymer ? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Another improvement is the AERIAL II™ high-transmission illuminator, developed by ASML and Carl Zeiss. AERIAL II provides much higher transmission of 248 nm wavelength light. This plays an essential role in achieving the system's high throughput of 104 200 mm wafers per hour. -------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for is a tie in to the Oregonian article about Intel pushing the government to make a deal with ASML .
