Walter, In terms of the technical aspects of the software - I will defer to the real experts on this and the Ancor thread who I consider to be Technocrat, KJ, and Steve. Just in marketing terms I wouldn't make too much out of the early announcements. To be competitive, your switch will have to work with the major vendors, and I don't see how that could be a major problem. Both Ancor and Brocade presented at the recent Veritas conference and if you search Ancor's site - you can see that they have demoed with Legato at two different expos in the past. George
