Whoops! Folks, I was off by a few dollars. Waging the Drug War is costing American taxpayers 16 BILLION dollars per year. I got my *illions mixed up in my prior post when I wrote "million."

That's a lot of scratch! Particularly since whenever we put one dealer in jail, another dealer moves up the ranks to take to take his/her place. Meanwhile, the heavy traffickers are more than willing to sacrifice one shipment of cocaine/heroin in order to get 20 others in. Meanwhile, our authorities over and over beat on tarzan-type chests proclaiming how they put a dent in the drug trade. And you think there's bull on stock threads!?!

One can also make an argument that the Drug War exists to continue racism since one in 16 black males are now in prison. There's a whole lot more, but I know I'm already overtaxed on this subject right now. Please use the links I gave in my prior post if you wish more information.

i know, it's like the gov't banning tobacco advertising: I have been living around motorsports all my life, but for some reason, i've NEVER had the urge to light up a smoke, or even THINK about it. So because a bunch of pansies do, they (try to) Axe tobacco advertising from all TV's, billboards and sporting events.
