He could not buy and then cash in on an announcement he was privy to. But he did not have to buy, because as has been made public by the company, any director elected to the board currently qualifies for an option to buy 100,000 shares at that day's closing price. He can only cash in if the price appreciates from here. He will probably make a lot of dough, and will probably do all he can to help the company succeed because it's now very much in his interest for it to do so!!! Capitalism at it's very best. I'm proud to be a participant in such a noble enterprise!
