Mpact Immedia is getting into bill presentment on the Canadian side with TransPoint through todays acquisition of the e-finance division of Newstar Tech of Toronto.

Portfolio updated CYBG E out at 1 5/8s', and INTF in at 3 3/8s'. A little e-bill primer in the news today...from CheckFree & InterFace. The EBPP process includes bill (1) creation, (2) distribution and (3) payment. CheckFree's core services focus on distribution and payment. biz.yahoo.com Then in the other Camp...Transpoint doing 2 & 3....InterFace INTF provides process #1 for TransPoint. I would expect as the two distribution systems become compatible...that eventually INTF would also be able to present in to the CKFR distribution system...just a hunch on my part. Interface's IBDP software serves to integrate billers' (such as PECO) systems with consolidators' (such as TransPoint) systems by delivering information from the biller in the format required by the consolidator. biz.yahoo.com
