<Does your RT# stay up steady (ie no freezes) with your shotgun setup? >
Can't answer for sure as I recently had the shotgun installed. It is better but will probably still have a problem with fast movers like DELL. Am in the process of moving and will have my own three phone lines in new house. Presently have to borrow my wife's line when I want to use the shotgun. That doesn't work very well as she needs her line for business calls (She still works in the real world).
Another source - find Brentsky, probably on the Cyber thread, and ask about his set up. I believe he sends via modem over internet and receives via satellite and sounds very effective.

Rick,

You can set up one of the Shotgun modems for call waiting. It will "hear" and answer incoming calls. That same line can be added or dropped while maintaining your connection.
