It seems possible that the lawsuit was some kind of obstacle to some kind of more comprehensive deal that ANCR could consider now or in the future. Unsettled, it certainly could have been a worry to a possible suitor--perhaps the $250,000 was the ANCR deductible on the policy, and perhaps the policy was not transferrable in the event of a takeover. Perhaps perhaps perhaps. (Of course now ANCR will need to double or triple or more to get to a reasonable takeover range <g>)
