There were shareholders for the previous company and their stock just changed name and did a reverse split. I am not sure, but I think it was a 1000-1 reverse split. So the shares were .008 before the split and $8 after the split. So everyone who owned 1000 shares of Savant got 1 share of TCBG in return valued at $8. I am not positive about this, but I recall someone mentioning this a while back.

This does sound a bit ridiculous though because there would have been 20 billion shares before the reverse split.

Oh well, who knows?
