John, The stock is doing much better now than when the dividend was significantly higher. DELL pays no dividend and is doing OK (I am trying to master the art of understatement). IMHO dividends don't matter for growth stock investments which are not tax sheltered. The much maligned stock buyback is working. I would prefer that it continue unless better investments present themselves. Let's hope the $180 based on a 23 PE is improved by the higher PE IBM deserves. Good luck with your investments. Scott
